At LCL, we believe in empowering women and supporting initiatives that promote gender equality.
That’s why we were thrilled to welcome Frank Vandooren from Oxfam at our office in Diegem for a presentation about their work on women’s empowerment. One of the coffee cooperations they work with is Rebuild Women’s Hope in Congo, with more than 70% female members.
It was insightful to learn more about how this project benefits women. The presentation ended with a surprise gift for all colleagues: a bag of sustainable Women’s Hope 100% arabica coffee, for everyone to try and to support Oxfam’s efforts.
