You’ve read it before: we listen to our customers and build lasting relationships with them. As a Health, Safety & Environment Assistant, you play a key role in that collaboration.

What specifically do you do as a Health, Safety & Envi-ronment Assistant at LCL?

In this function you will support the QHSE Manager in carrying out legal tasks. You take care of the mandatory declarations and reports, you carry out site visits and risk analyses and develop action plans.

You participate in the further development of the existing QHSE care systems (including ISO14001, ISO5001, ISO45001).  You are actively involved in the preparation of external audits and work closely with the various LCL departments for the development and realization of improvement plans.

Throughout all processes, you pay attention to safety and environmental management and coach the LCL employees to show the desired safety and environmental behavior.

By following legal provisions and applicable regulations in the QHSE domains, you analyze the impact of legislative changes on our company regarding safety, environment, sustainability, permits and formulate actions.

In this diverse and challenging position, you will report to the QHSE Manager and work closely with all colleagues within the various departments of LCL.

Can you be interested in this job?

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • You have an additional level 2 prevention advisor degree (or level 3 and are willing to evolve to level 2)
  • You have knowledge of environmental legislation (Vlarem)
  • You have knowledge of QHSE management systems (ISO14001, ISO5001, ISO45001).
  • You quickly process new information and can prepare reports independently
  • You speak and write Dutch and English fluently and have a good knowledge of French
  • You have extensive knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  • You are communicative, analytical and like to organize
